Automatic Payment Authorization
Hatch Bank issues the Curve Card to accountholders subject to the Curve Credit Card Agreement. The words “you” and “your” mean the accountholder(s) who sign(s) or similarly authenticate(s) this Authorization for Automatic Payments of the Curve Card. The words “we,” “us,” and “our” mean Hatch Bank and its successors, assigns, and service providers including Curve, Inc.. Capitalized terms not defined in this Automatic Payment Authorization are defined by the Curve Credit Card Agreement.
To ensure proper withdrawal of your payment, please confirm you provided the proper routing and transit number, or payment card information, on the Payment Card screen. You authorize us to provide a copy of this Authorization to your depository institution upon its request.
You have the right to receive advance notice of automatic payments that may vary in amount. The Periodic Statement that we provide each billing cycle will disclose the varying amount of the Minimum Payment and/or the Periodic Statement Balance.
We offer several Automatic Payment options. See additional detail below for each option.
1. Minimum Payment Due. The Minimum Payment Due, as shown on the monthly periodic statement. This amount will automatically be paid on the account due date. For any billing cycle in which your account is past due, Minimum Payment Automatic Payment will not bring your account current. When your account statement shows that your account is Past Due, you must make a payment outside of Automatic Payment for the total amount of the minimum payment due (which may include late charges) as displayed on that statement to bring your account due.
The Automatic Payment will never be more than the Minimum Payment Due. However, it may be less because payments, returns, and other credits can reduce the Minimum Payment due if they post to the account between the closing date and the date your payment is processed.
2. Statement Balance. The Statement Balance is shown on the monthly statement. This amount will automatically be paid on the account due date.
If your Statement Balance on your due date is greater than the balance on your statement closing date, you will not avoid paying interest on new purchase by using Statement Balance Automatic Payment. To avoid payment interest on new purchases you must make an additional payment (outside of Automatic Payment) by the due date for the difference.
The Automatic Payment will never be more than your Statement Balance. However, it may be less because payments, returns, and other credits can reduce the Statement Balance if they post to the account between the closing date and the date your payment is processed.
3. Custom: The Custom Amount is the amount you select to be paid each month. This amount will automatically be paid on the account due date. If the amount chosen is less than the Minimum Payment Due in any billing cycle, we will increase your Custom Automatic Payment for that billing cycle to satisfy your Minimum Payment Due. If the amount chosen is more than the Periodic Statement Balance in any billing cycle, we will decrease your Custom Automatic Payment for that billing cycle to satisfy the Periodic Statement Balance
If, under any payment option selected, your payment is returned unpaid due to insufficient or uncollected funds in your deposit account, you authorize us to initiate a debit in the same amount, up to two (2) additional times, and within one hundred eighty (180) days after the settlement date of the original debit attempt.
You may cancel your authorization for us to initiate these recurring payments at any time by notifying us or by notifying the depository institution that holds your Deposit Account. The party you notify must be allowed a reasonable period of time, up to three (3) business days, to process your cancellation request. Contact your own depository institution if you have questions about how to cancel through the depository institution. To notify us of a cancellation request you must either write to us at email@example.com, call us at 855-501-2350. Even if you or we cancel these recurring payments, you must still use another acceptable method to make your Curve Card payments on the dates and in the amounts due.
You certify that the information shown is correct and complete to the best of your knowledge and that you are individually authorized to have funds deducted from the Deposit Account to make your Curve Card payments. You agree that we did not require you to sign this authorization and you voluntarily elected to do so for your convenience and to make Curve Card payments in the amounts you selected and on the dates they are due.
