Eligibility for a Curve account and the Terms of use of Curve are set out in the UK Terms of Service, Samsung Pay+ Terms of Service and the EEA Terms of Service. Curve does not bear any liability for incomplete account creations or activations, including transaction declines, or if there are delays for any reason, including being unable to verify your account.
-
The denominations within these Terms will be respective of your region i.e., if you are an EEA Curve customer, your cashback limits will be in EUR and if you are a UK Curve customer, your cashback limits will be in GBP.
How it works
-
Once you have successfully installed Curve Pay on your Apple or Android device you will earn 2% cashback on all eligible in-store grocery purchases, up to £30 per calendar month (the “Reward”).
-
You will only earn a Reward on purchases made using the Curve Pay Wallet, i.e. purchases made using Curve through any other mediums of payment such as the physical Curve card or via a third party digital wallet will not generate a Reward.
-
Grocery stores will be identified via the Merchant Category Code (“MCC”), as such any purchases that are made through the Curve Pay Wallet that do not have the corresponding grocery store MCC (“5411”) will not generate a Reward.
-
The Reward will be added to your Curve Cash Card immediately and the maximum you can receive from this Offer is £30 per calendar month.
The Reward
-
The Reward will be given to you in Curve Cash Points which will be added to your Curve Cash Card (you can see this in the Curve app). Our Curve Rewards and Curve Cash scheme terms apply (see here). If you are a UK resident, please note that FSCS protection does not apply to the funds held on your Curve Cash Card. To learn more about how Curve protects your funds and how we minimise your risk, go here. More information can be found on the FCA website itself, here.
-
The maximum Reward you can earn under the Curve Pay Cashback Offer is up to £30 per month.
-
Curve Cash Points have no monetary value and are converted to e-money only at the point you spend them with your Curve card. Curve Cash Points cannot be withdrawn as, or redeemed for, cash, cannot be transferred from your Curve Cash card, and expire after 6 months. Your use of Curve Cash Points is subject to our UK Terms of Service (if you are a UK resident) or Curve’s Samsung Pay+ Terms (if you’re a Samsung Pay+ user), or to our EEA Terms of Service (if you are a resident of the EEA).
-
Fair use: The Curve Pay Cashback Offer is subject to our UK Fair Use Policy (if you are a UK resident) or to our EEA Fair Use Policy (if you are a resident of the EEA). Any violation of our Fair Use Policy may result in us suspending your participation in the Curve Pay Cashback Offer and Curve Cash Points or suspending or closing your Curve account. You will not be credited Curve Cash Points that we reasonably believe were obtained in violation of our Fair Use Policy. We will also revoke any Curve Cash Points granted where we reasonably believe they were obtained by fraud or otherwise in violation of these Terms. Curve reserves the right to revoke any Curve Cash Points granted in excess of the maximum limit as set out in our Fair Use Policy.
-
Disqualification or suspension:
-
Any person persistently trying to circumvent these Terms will be immediately disqualified. Any person who creates or attempts to create duplicate Curve accounts to obtain entries into the Curve Pay Cashback Offer will be ineligible.
-
Curve reserves the right to disqualify customers where there are reasonable grounds to believe they are acting fraudulently or where there has been a breach of these Terms.
-
Curve also reserves the right to reverse any Reward credited to your Curve account in the event of the original purchase being refunded, if we become aware that you have breached these Terms or the terms that apply to your Curve account. We will consider the reversal of any Reward to have been done with your consent and the payment to have been authorised by you.
